Telangana Govt to fund training for poor students in Private coaching centres
Telangana Students who hails from weaker sections had a reason to cherish. The Telangana Government has decided to provide free training in reputed private coaching centres for the civil service aspirants.
Even after spending crores of rupees on the government run institutions for providing coaching, hostel and mess facilities, they are failing to achieve good results. Hence, the Telangana government has decided to implement the Tamil Nadu Government practice to fund private institutions which saw good results.
BC welfare minister Jogu Ramanna said, “We have collected fee details from reputed coaching centres to provide Civil Services exam coaching. The fee ranges from Rs 80,000 to Rs 1.50 lakh for durations, ranging from seven to nine months. An additional Rs 10,000 is required per month for accommodation and mess expenses."
The students will be given training in reputed institutions situated in New Delhi and Hyderabad. They have also been provided with training to crack personal interview. About 150 students will be trained under this program and they will be selected through an entrance test.
