Jagan: Our voice being gagged by TDP Govt

Hyderabad, March 10, 2015: YSRCP president and leader of the opposition Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy has charged the Government with suppressing the voice of the opposition in the AP assembly on Tuesday. "You are leveling charges against us but we are not allowed to respond," he asked the Speaker. He mentioned the case relating to the firing that took place in the house of actor Balakrishna some years ago. The mention of the case has drawn protests from TDP members. Earlier, third day of the budget session began on a acrimonious note when the YSRCP members sought time to speak on farmers' issues. Speaker Kodela rejected their demand resulting in their protests. He then adjourned the House for ten minutes. Minister Achchan Naidu asked Speaker Kodela to train Jagan Mohan Reddy in the observance of house rules so that he will learn how to follow rules and observe the traditions. Before the House was adjourned, YSRCP members, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy , have staged a walk-out alleging that they were not being allowed to speak in the house. Meanwhile, TDP members served a notice of privilege motion against YSRCP MLA Roja. The House continued its proceedings amid protests by YSRCP members.
