Fees row: TNSF lays siege to Ministers quarters

Hyderabad, Oct.22: Seeking immediate release of fees reimbursement pending for the last four months, TSNF a student wing of Telugu Desam Party today stormed the Ministers' quarters here. Led by its President Chiluka Madhusudhan Reddy, 52 youth leaders staged a protest and warned they will be compelled to wage a protracted war in week days against the TRS Government if it failed to release Rs 2090 cr towards the fees reimbursement. The TRS Government is playing with the lives of 14 lakh students in the state he charged. Consequently, SC, ST, BC and Minority students are suffering a huge loss and failing to peruse education the TNSF leader bemoaned. The police arrested them and shifted to a police station. Earlier, Madhusudhan Reddy said that the TRS Government which came to power with the support of the students is resorting to deceive them. He accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of making a deliberate attempt to harass the students by denying them fees reimbursement. The student wing of the Telugu Desam will wage a war against the government if it continued to ignore on the demand he said. KCR should keep his promise made in last Assembly session to release fees reimbursement funds else students across the state will make a revolt against the government. Unmindful of the welfare of the students and poor the government is focusing on excise revenue and KCR is confining to farm house and ministers are in new districts he charged. Those other student leaders were present include S Prasad, Ravinder, Santhosh Naik, Greater Hyderabad wing president G Raghu Kiran, Sharath Chandra and others.
