Ring Road is Under Proposal In Tirumala

A Ring Road is under the proposal in Tirumala. To facilitate Darshan to all the devotees at the time of Garudaseva, TTD is proposing to build a Ring Road atop Tirumala Hills. As part of annual Brahmotsavams, Garudaseva will be performed for Lord Balaji. Lakhs of devotees attend to witness the event. In the past, TTD and state government has proposed to widen the ‘Mada’ streets and to dismantle the ‘Veyyi kalla Mandapam’ atop Tirumala, but their efforts met with severe resistance. TTD chairman Chadalavada opined that no devotee should have to go back with discontent and that every devotee should witness satisfaction through Darshan. If the proposed Ring Road have been built then, deities should be paraded on the proposed ring road instead of the Mada streets. The said proposal is in initial stages only.
