Hyderabad Woman has been part of International Antarctic Expedition 2017

A Hyderabad woman has been chosen to be part of International Antarctic Expedition 2017. The woman in the discussion is Thammala Sandhya, mother of a baby girl, has the passion to explore new worlds. She has dozen treks in her kitty which includes a Mount Everest Base Camp trek. The International Antarctic Expedition 2017 starts in the month of March and the selected members will reach the South Pole in the March 2017. The expedition continues for 14 days. The expedition intends to deliver a message to the future leaders to drive their policies towards building sustainable communities by way of utilising renewable energy. The programme, titled as ‘Leadership on the Edge’ wherein she would learn from global experts on climate change, sustainability and energy use.
