Revanth Blamed TRS Govt for Sidelining Narayanpet-Kondangal Project
Hyderabad, Sept.16: TDP Telangana working president and floor leader A Revanth Reddy today alleged that the ruling party has sidelining Narayanpet-Kodangal lift irrigation project due to political vigilance against him. To infuse confidence in farmers, the party is organizing a Rythu Diksha on September 19 and 20 at Indira Park, he said alleging that Chief Minister KCR and Irrigation Minister Harish Rao were treating towards Palamuru district with a step motherly attitude. He said Kalwakurti, Bhima, Nettampadu and Koyalsagar projects were inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh state N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana was developed during TDP regime. TDP and Congress government have spent Rs 8,400 crore on these projects whereas TRS government has merely spent Rs 380 crore only, Revanth said.
