KCR Should Implement His Own Demand: BJP

Hyderabad, Sept.16: Reminding that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had demanded to celebrate Telangana liberation day officially when he was in opposition, BJP leader Indrasena Reddy questioned why KCR was keeping quiet now when he was now in power. Speaking to the media here on Friday, Indrasena Reddy said the latter should implement his own demand now. It was not justifiable for not celebrating memorable day officially for political selfishness, Indrasena Reddy said. The BJP leader said like August 15, September 17 should be celebrated officially in a grand way. The history of martyrs who sacrificed their lives while fighting against Nizam should be included in the school syllabus. Party national president Amit Shah would address a meeting in Warangal on September 17, he said.
