Red alert declared for Shamshabad airport

Red Alert has been sounded at Shamshabad international airport till August 25 following intelligence inputs of a possible attack around Independence Day. The CISF and Octopus police have fanned out in the airport to conduct checking in every inch of the space. Suspects were being interrogated. Passes to go in and out of the airport have been suspended for the time being. The busting of an ISIS module by the National Investigation Agency and the unearthing of dangerous chemicals that could be used as binary weapons have alerted the police. Ever since the local police have also been put on high alert. While half-a-dozen people have been allowed to go, the core IS module has been taken into custody. It is possible that the intelligence agencies have gathered the inputs from these and related dangerous elements.
