How to write Telugu in a beautiful font
- Type your text in English letters (amma becomes అమ్మ), or paste Telugu from anywhere.
- Pick a Telugu font: each one shows your own words. Pick an English font for English words and numbers.
- Under The look, choose the font size (and bold) for Telugu and for English, an A4 page or a square image, the alignment, the line spacing and the colours.
- Tap Preview (or the page) to see it full size. Then print it, or save it as a PDF, a JPG or a Word file; on a phone, share the image.
What each one gives
- PDF and Print: every page as you see it, sharp in print (200 dots an inch). The letters are a picture, so they cannot be edited or copied from the PDF.
- JPG: the page as an image for WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram; the square image fits a post.
- Word: the text, to edit, with the fonts' names, sizes and colours. Word shows the fonts only if the computer has them: download them free from Google Fonts (the links are under the buttons) and install them.

Questions
Is my text uploaded?
No. The page is drawn in your browser. The fonts load from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com): Google sees the request for a font, not your text.
Can I use these fonts on a wedding card, a shop board or a book?
Yes. The SIL Open Font License allows any use, printing and selling included. You can also download the fonts and install them on your computer.
Why does WhatsApp show my text in its own font?
A message is plain text, and the phone shows it in its own font. To share the look, share the JPG or the PDF.
How do I get Telugu to put here?
Type it here in English letters, or use Telugu Typing. Text in an old Anu font (from Word or PageMaker) becomes Unicode with the Anu to Unicode Converter; both send it here with "Set it in a font".
