Pawan: Don't acquire multi-crop land for capital

Hyderabad, Aug 19: Popular Telugu actor and Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan has once again appealed to the state government not to forcefully acquire lands from the farmers in the new capital region. The actor has once again tweeted on land acquisition for capital city today. He urged the Chief Minister to rethink on acquiring multi-cropped land for the capital city. Pawan asked the government to exempt Undavalli, Penumaka, Bethapudi and riverfront villages from land acquisition. Rulers should act sensibly towards farmers and the loss arising from development activities should be minimum, he opined. He asked the government to preserve ecological balance and to save environment.
