JAC to hold a seminar on Mallannasagar project

Chairman of Joint Action Committee (political) Prof Kodandaram on Thursday announced that the steering committee would be holding a seminar on the Mallannasagar project to do justice to the affected villagers. He said the committee had made a study of the issues that crop up in case of land acquisition for projects. In order to study the conditions obtaining in Mahbubnagar, the committee would be making a visit on July 21 and 22. As for land acquisition, their report would be ready within a fortnight, he added. The steering committee held their meeting in the Nampalli office today, and Prof Kodandaram spoke to the media later.
