Terror suspects in city planned unforgettable havoc in Cantonment

The Military Intelligence in the City was bang on target that the road connecting AOC Gate in Secunderabad to Alwal should be closed as a precautionary measure. The people and their leaders have been protesting against the closure of the road by the military authorities all along. Representations have also been made to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar not to close the road to civilian traffic. It transpires that the ISIS terror suspects now in National Investigation Agency custody have revealed, following grilling, that the military installations in the city were their prime target. They were in fact told by their handlers in Syria to make dangerous attacks on the installations so people would remember it for long. The terror suspects are stated to have drawn up plans to attack the military installations in the city. They have also done recce of the military installations spread around the Old City in Golconda and Secunderabad. The Syrian handlers had told the terror suspects that the attacks should be such that the Indians would long remember the attacks and create fear in them. The terror suspects chose Secunderabad Cantonment because it offered getaway. Their plans, according to the police, were to enter the Cantonment installations firing bang, bang and creating unforgettable havoc.
