Jaya on Monday, Mamata on May 27

AIADMK Chief Jayalalithaa will take oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on May 23 in Chennai. In the recent assembly elections, AIADMK got 134 seats in the 235 member strength assembly and so all is set for Jayalalithaa to take oath as the chief minister of the state for second consecutive term. On the other hand, Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee will take oath as the Chief Minister of West Bengal on May 27. In the recent elections to the state assembly, Trinamool Congress won 211 seats in 294 member state assembly. For the ceremony to be held in Kolkata, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi and others are also invited. Besides, Lalu Prasad Yadav is also invited to the ceremony.
