Implement assurances given to AP: Sitaram Yechury

Delhi, Aug 18: CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury has demanded the BJP led NDA government to implement all the assurances given to Andhra Pradesh by the previous UPA government at the time of passage of AP Reorganisation Bill in Parliament. He opined that AP should not be compared with other states for according special status and urged the Centre to help AP to meet its future needs. He flayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing financial package to Bihar before Assembly elections.
