Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister and leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party, has confessed to collecting secret documents from the Pakistani Embassy in the U.S. However, he said he can't recall where they are now. Due to these claims, Khan is under investigation for allegedly leaking confidential embassy information. An additional case has now been filed against him under the Official Secrets Act. If these allegations are proven in court, the consequences could be severe, ranging from 2 to 14 years of prison time. In some extreme situations, the death penalty might also be considered. Currently, Khan is in Attock Jail for a separate case. Today, three top Federal Investigative Agency officials questioned him. Reports indicate that Khan cooperated fully during the inquiry. This recent case against him was initiated following an FIR lodged by the F.I.A.
