Samsung Launches Its Slimmest Phone Yet… Here Are the Details!

Global electronics giant Samsung has unveiled a new smartphone under its Galaxy S series in the global market. Named the Galaxy S25 Edge, the device is designed to impress tech enthusiasts with its ultra-slim build and powerful features. Having already introduced several models in the S25 series, Samsung has now brought this Edge variant to the market.

The Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone stands out with a thickness of just 5.8 millimetres, making it one of the slimmest phones currently available, according to the company. It features a 6.7-inch Quad HD Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The screen quality is enhanced with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection. The phone also holds an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

In terms of performance, the smartphone is powered by the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and runs on the One UI 7 operating system based on Android 15. For photography, it offers a dual camera setup on the rear, comprising a 200-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. A 12-megapixel front-facing camera is provided for selfies and video calls. The device houses a 3,900mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25 Edge in two storage variants. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at ₹1,09,999. A second variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage has also been introduced. Samsung announced that, for a limited period, customers can purchase the 512GB variant at the price of the 256GB model.

The smartphone will be available in three attractive colours: Titanium Ice Blue, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Silver. For connectivity, it includes features such as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port. Interested customers can begin placing pre-orders for the phone starting May 13, the company stated.
