40 RTC commuters escape by a whisker from accident !

Guntur, Dec 20, 2014: 40 commuters of an RTC bus in Guntur district had a providential escape on Saturday when the steering of the running bus broke into two pieces forcing the driver to apply sudden brakes. The bus had gone astray and found its way into a nearby agricultural filed where it hit a small embankment and come to a halt. The incident occurred when the bus was proceeding to Amaravati from Sattenapally early in the morning. The moment the bus began barging into the agricultural field , the commuters, not knowing what was happening , started crying loud with commotion. However, after a few seconds, the bus came to a grinding halt giving big relief to the passengers. "Only God saved us today," one of the passengers said later. Most of the passengers cursed the RTC management for not properly maintaining the buses and playing with the lives of the people.
