HC sets 48 hrs deadline for TS govt to solve demands of Jr. Docs

Hyderabad, Nov 19: The High Court of Telangana has on Wednesday directed the TS government to take measures to end the strike of the protesting Junior Doctors within 48 hours. The High Court also directed the government to solve the the demands of the protesting Junior Doctors as long as they meet the legal requirements. At the same time, the High Court ruled that the strike undertaken by the protesting Junior Doctors was illegal. The HC questioned the protesting Junior doctors as to how they can go on a strike when they had already agreed to the government terms and accepted the honorarium. Stating that it was not right on the part of the doctors to go on a strike when they were in public service, the High Court told the Telangana government not to take any legal action against the striking doctors by keeping their future in view.
