TS Govt Appointed Rajiv Sharma As TSPCB Chairman

Hyderabad: TS government appointed Chief Adviser and former Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma as the chairman of TSPCB (Telangana State Pollution Control Board) On July 7th, 2014 TSPCB was constituted under Section 5 of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. It is a body of Dept. of Health and Family Welfare. Board has powers to enforce laws related to environmental protection. It is heard that very soon government will appoint him as Vice Chairman for CGG (Centre for Good Governance) also.
