Oppn spewing venom on camp office: TRS
Hyderabad, Nov.28: TRS leader P Rajeshwar Reddy today slammed the Opposition for spewing venom on the State government and its schemes. He refuted comments of Telugu Desam that the TRS government spent Rs 300 crore for constructing camp office with 150 rooms for Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Talking to media persons here today, the TRS leader sought to know whether the TDP can show proof for their comments on the CMO new buildings constructed to cater to future needs. The State government spent only Rs 35 crore for the new camp-cum-residential complex, which does not belong to KCR but for future needs of people for the next 150 years, he said. “The TDP is aware that camp offices in other States were built by spending more funds. The new CMO is for resolving the people’s issues and for better governance”, Rajeshwar Reddy asserted.
He also charged the Congress with carrying out misinformation campaign against crop loan waiver by the State government. “We have already released three installments of Rs 17000 crore each, and the remaining will also be released very soon,” he said. He also said the State government was giving priority to irrigation sector. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was taking steps to see that there was no adverse impact of demonetization on the projects taken up, the MLC said. The State government will complete all the projects to ensure water for one crore acres in five years, he claimed. He also ridiculed CPM State secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram for taking up padayatra for social justice.
