Yogeshwar Dutt practises hard, backs Narsingh Yadav

Olympic medal winning wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt on Tuesday joined the chorus of support for Narsingh Yadav, caught in a dope scandal, saying that the matter should be investigated throughly. Narsingh's dope test came positive barely 10 days before the start of the Olympics and he cried foul, saying it was a conspiracy against him. "Khusti ke liye bahut dukhi hun. Iski janch honi bahut zaruri hai. Mujhe vishwas hai narsingh aesa nai kar sakta (I am very sad about the state of wrestling. This matter should be investigated. I am sure that Narsingh cannot do something like this)," Yogeshwar wrote on his twitter handle. The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) also strongly put its weight behind the 26-year-old grappler, insisting that it was a clear case of sabotage. The WFI also urged the Sports Ministry and top officials in the government to help Narsingh's case. Narsingh will get a final chance to prove his innocence when he faces the NADA disciplinary committee on Wednesday. What about Yogeshwar Dutt's preparation? "This is my fourth and last Olympics so I am toiling very hard to come back with a gold medal," he said at the sidelines of the launch of Olympians Association of India. I am training for five to six hours a day, including gym session. I want to make Rio an unforgettable experience."
