Ponnam alleges secret pact not to split HC

Former Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar has alleged that Chief Ministers of Telugu States, K Chandrasekhar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu, have struck a secret pact of not trying to divide the High Court. Speaking to the media here on Friday, Ponnam suggested that KCR talk to Chandrababu Naidu to solve the High Court division issue instead of staging dharna in New Delhi. He alleged that the advocates were on the roads due to the “selfish” attitude of KCR. He asked the TRS MPs to state why they failed to raise the issue in Parliament. The TRS leadership had been threatening to stage a dharna at Jantar-Mantar in New Delhi. But when Union Law Minister Sadananda Gouda welcomed such a move, the threat was put on the backburner.
