NSUI protests against changing Uppal stadium name

Hyderabad, May 29: NSUI activists staged a dharna at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal here on Sunday demanding that Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) not change the stadium’s name. The activists raised slogans against the HCA officials. The police rushed to the spot and took the NSUI activists into custody and shifted them to local police station. The HCA meeting started after the NSUI dharna at the stadium. The HCA was contemplating to change the name of Rajiv Gandhi stadium.
