Pattiseema project only for kickbacks: Vundavalli

Hyderabad, Sep 11: Former Rajahmundry MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar has alleged that AP government took up Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Project to swindle public money. Speaking to the media here, Vundavalli said that government misled people on Pattiseema. He asked the government whether it was interested in taking up Polavaram irrigation project. He blamed the government for dedicating incomplete Pattiseema project to the nation. On the conduct of the recent monsoon session of AP Assembly, Vundavalli said that government was trying to stifle voice of opposition. He criticised YSRCP for backing out of discussions on important issues.
