MPDO held for 'illicit affair'
Visakhapatnam, Sep 11: The police today arrested a Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO)on the charges of cheating a woman. The accused R Satyanarayana reportedly sexually exploited a married woman by promising all the help. The victim is widow and she has three children. The victim earlier worked as attender in Araku MPDO office. Ten months ago Satyanarayana was transferred to Madgula and since then he deliberately tried to keep her away. He also tried to admit the victim in a Mental Health Institute, but the the doctors reprimanded the couple. On the basis of complaint lodged by the woman, the police today arrested Satyanarayana from his residence at Waltair in the city.
