The AP government has recently appointed a 24-member governing body for the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). This decision, however, has been met with criticism from opposition figures. Kinjarapu Achchennaidu, State TDP President, expressed his dissatisfaction with some of the chosen members. He particularly raised concerns about the appointment of a Christian as the chairman and the inclusion of Sarath Chandra Reddy as a TTD member. Achchennaidu stressed that the integrity of the TTD has been compromised under the current administration. In response to these developments, the TDP has planned a series of events. Starting from the 28th of this month, a three-day event named "Sand Satyagraham" is scheduled. Additionally, the "Babu Surety-Future Guarantee" program will run for six weeks from September 1, targeting outreach to millions of homes.
