Hyderabad: A case has been officially lodged by the Mahbubnagar police involving 11 individuals, which includes Telangana Minister Srinivas Goud, in the ongoing controversy related to tampering of election affidavits. The case has been registered at the two Town Police Station in Mahabubnagar. Acting on the directives from the People's Representatives Court situated in Nampally, the police have taken this step. This development follows a previous petition presented to the People's Representatives Court, alleging the involvement of Minister Srinivas Goud in the manipulation of election affidavits. In response to this petition, the Nampally court ordered the Mahabubnagar police to initiate legal proceedings against Srinivas Goud and a number of election officials.
