NTR: Heavy rains caused by a cyclone in the Bay of Bengal have led to rivers overflowing in many parts of the state, causing crop damage and chaos. Sadly, a person was swept away in the Waira Kattaleru river in the NTR Krishna district. According to the sources, M. Adam, who works as the headmaster of Jayanthi SC Colony in Veerulapadu Mandal, had left on his two-wheeler after completing his school duties. He was en route to visit his daughter in Nandigama when his bike was swept away in the floodwaters of the Vaira Kattaleru river at Pallampalli. Flooded and surrounded by waist-deep water, he was able to hold onto a bridge pillar until the locals responded to his cries for help. They quickly arrived and were able to pull Adam and his two-wheeler out of the river with the help of a rope.
