Actor and Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan confirmed on Tuesday that his party is in alliance with the BJP. In a statement, Kalyan said, "When elections are nearby and a date is given, then alliances and combinations can be considered. My only concern is votes shouldn’t be divided. It’s needed in democracy. If votes are divided and every party contests on their own, it could be little difficult. We are already in alliance with BJP. If not, we could go at it alone or maybe form alliance with another party”. Earlier in the day, Kalyan performed a puja for his campaign vehicle ‘Varahi’ at Sri Anjaneyaswamy temple in Kondagattu village in Jagtial district.
