Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy termed BCs are no more backward classes but they are backbone classes. Addressing the Jayaho BC Maha Sabha at Indira Gandhi stadium in Vijayawada, CM YS Jagan said that the state government is working for the welfare of BCs for the last three and half years. He alleged that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu deceived the BC people by not fulfilling the promises made to them. He asked everyone to recall the Eluru BC declaration in 2019 and how they fulfilled all the promises made to BCs. He added that the YS Jagan government brought a permanent BC Commission for the first time in the nation.
