Vijayawada: The recent fire accidents ahead of Diwali are escalating panic among the officials and people. A major fire broke out at crackers stalls in Gymkhana Grounds in Gandhi Nagar, Vijayawada on Sunday. According to the reports, there are 18 crackers stalls in the ground and a massive fire erupted at a crackers stall and spread to other stalls. All stalls were gutted in the fire and heavy loss was reported in the accident. It is said that two persons were killed in the incident. After getting the information, the fire tenders rushed to the spot and indulged in a rescue operation.
