Tollywood Iconic Star Allu Arjun was recently named the CNN-News18 Indian of the Year in the category of entertainment for his outstanding performance in the hit film 'Pushpa: The Rise.' Allu Arjun spoke on the newest generation of pan-Indian films during his address at the CNN-News18 Indian of the Year 2022 awards. "We all speak a different regional language. We are all entering a zone of India where language is not a barrier. We admired Hindi and other regional films as we grew up watching north (Indian) films. People are now viewing South Indian movies. The actor responded to the host's request by saying, "Indian cinema, India kabhi jhukega nahin (Indian cinema, India will never bow down)" with a particular gesture from the movie. This has cheered the audience. Smriti Irani, the Union Minister for Women and Child Development, gave Allu Arjun the award earlier and was full praise for the actor.
