The Sri Venkateswara Institute of Cancer Care and Advance Research (SVICCAR), established by the TATA trust and spanning 1.65 lakh square feet, was inaugurated by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. This was constructed at a cost of Rs 180 crore. The facility is outfitted with cutting-edge medical technology and includes all infrastructures for medical, surgical, and radiation oncology. According to the state government's decision, renowned oncologist Dr Dattatreya Nori has detailed CM Jagan's wonderful attempt to treat the poor and needy, as well as how the hospital will do in the treatment. He has revealed CM Jagan's plan to construct three comprehensive cancer centres in three important areas throughout Andhra Pradesh.
