Bhupalapally: Heavy rains and floods have unleashed chaos across the Telugu states, leaving numerous villages submerged in floodwaters. Moranchavagu in Bhupalapally district stands devastated as the entire village remains underwater. Desperate locals have sought refuge on building rooftops, while two individuals have already been swept away in the raging floods. The safety of around 1500 villagers hangs in the balance, prompting urgent rescue efforts. MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy raised the alarm and appealed for helicopter assistance, drawing the attention of Minister KTR and Chief Minister KCR to the dire situation. Rescue teams are working tirelessly to save lives.
