Mulugu: A group of around 82 tourists, hailing from Warangal and Karimnagar areas, found themselves stuck in the remote sanctuary of Mutyamdhara Falls during heavy rainfall. The incident came to light on Wednesday night when Tirumal from Huzurabad, Karimnagar district, alerted the authorities via dial 100, as the route back became impassable due to the sudden overflow of Mamidivagu. Upon receiving the distress call, Minister Satyawati promptly ordered the deployment of NDRF and DDRF teams to the sanctuary for rescue operations.
