Mulugu: A group of 80 tourists visiting the picturesque Mutyaladhara waterfalls in Mulugu district found themselves in a perilous situation when the stream they had crossed earlier suddenly overflowed, leaving them stranded on their way back. The tourists were unable to cross the rapidly rising river and were forced to seek shelter in the nearby forest. The Mulugu District Superintendent of Police (SP) addressed the tourists, urgently appealing to them not to attempt crossing the dangerous stream under any circumstances. Recognizing the severity of the situation, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams were swiftly dispatched to the scene to launch rescue operations. The safety and well-being of the trapped tourists have become a matter of high concern for the authorities, with Minister Satyavati Rathore personally overseeing the ongoing rescue efforts. Additionally, Minister Errabelli expressed deep concern and made inquiries about the incident, ensuring that all necessary resources are available for the rescue mission.
