Bengaluru: Police have arrested a Rapido bike driver following serious allegations made by a woman rider. The woman claimed that the driver engaged in indecent behavior by m*sturbating during the ride and later harassed her through WhatsApp messages after reaching her destination. The distressing incident reportedly occurred after the woman attended a protest against Manipur violence at Town Hall and hailed the bike taxi for her commute. Taking prompt action, the Bengaluru Police registered an FIR at the Electronic City Police Station and arrested the accused driver. The police shared updates on their official Twitter handle, confirming the registration of the FIR and the driver's subsequent arrest. Authorities are conducting further investigations into the matter.
