Hyderabad: The negligence at the canteen of ECIL, a leading company, is becoming a growing concern. Employees have reported the presence of rats, mites, cigarettes, and beedis in the food, causing distress among the workforce. Recently, the discovery of a snake in the dal served at the canteen has added to the worries of the employees. The cooked items from ECIL's central canteen are supplied for the mid-day meal at the EVM company in Cherlapally. However, on a Friday afternoon, during food distribution at the EVM canteen, a baby snake found in the dal, leading to immediate concern among the employees. Some employees, who had already eaten their lunch and learned of the incident, expressed anger as the management and staff tried to keep the matter hidden.
