Kothagudem: In Bhadradri Kothagudem district, a serious road accident occurred on the Khammam – Kothagudem road in the Julurupadu suburb. The collision involved four vehicles, resulting in a chain reaction of unfortunate events. Initially, a lorry was stopped on the road and was struck by another lorry approaching from behind. The impact caused the lorry's driver to become trapped inside the cabin. Witnessing the dire situation, another lorry driver stopped his vehicle and rushed to rescue the trapped driver. However, tragedy struck again when another vehicle collided with the parked lorry, causing the diesel tanker to burst into flames. The fire quickly spread, engulfing three vehicles in its path. Promptly, fire personnel were alerted and swiftly arrived at the scene to control the raging blaze, working tirelessly with fire engines to bring the situation under control and clear the traffic. The police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
