Nizamabad: A shocking incident unfolded at Nizamabad Government Medical College when a student attempted suicide in the college hostel, causing panic among the students. The distressing incident came to light on Monday morning, sending shockwaves throughout the campus. The victim, identified as Khushbu (20), hails from Rajasthan and is pursuing her second year of MBBS at Nizamabad Government Medical College. On Sunday, she took an overdose of unknown pills, leading to her unconscious state. Her fellow students discovered her unconscious in her hostel room and immediately alerted the hostel warden. Swift action was taken, and Khushbu was promptly rushed to the District General Hospital for medical attention. College officials have confirmed that Khushbu is currently under medical care at the hospital and is in the process of recovery.
