In a recent outburst, Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu has strongly criticized Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister YS Jagan, accusing him of crippling Amaravati, the state's potential wealth hub. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, expressed his profound discontent, attributing the state's current hardships to what he described as Jagan's flawed governance. Drawing a parallel to the successful development and ensuing wealth creation in Hyderabad, Chandrababu Naidu insisted that Amaravati could have followed a similar trajectory, becoming a central hub for economic prosperity for the entire state. He urged an examination of Amaravati's land value progression, questioning the valuation prior to its declaration as the capital, the subsequent increase after its declaration, and its current state. While highlighting the fate of the Polavaram project, he asserted that the efficient use of Krishna-Godavari rivers could lead to water being provided to every acre of land in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
