On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy on July 8, his son and current Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, visited YSR Ghat to pay homage. Following his tour in Anantpur, the Chief Minister, accompanied by his wife, YS Bharathi, mother, YS Vijayamma, and other family members, commemorated the life of the late political figure at his ghat in the Pulivendula Assembly segment. After a moment of reflection at the ghat, the Chief Minister proceeded to Idupulapaya hall to offer prayers. He is expected to engage in discussions with leaders and will be spending the night at his residence in Idupulapaya. Earlier in the day, YS Sharmila, the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy's daughter, along with her children, also visited YSR Ghat to pay their respects.
