In a surprising turn of events in Dharwad district's Sansi village in Karnataka, a man named Virbhadra was apprehended for posing as a woman to avail free transportation facilities for women. He was found donned in a burqa at a local bus stand in Kundgol, where other passengers were awaiting their bus. His peculiar behaviour aroused suspicion amongst the fellow travellers. Consequently, his true identity was uncovered when the individuals at the scene decided to remove his burqa. It was revealed that the person beneath the garb was not a woman, but Virbhadra, a man native to Ghodageri village in Vijayapura district. Upon being questioned, Virbhadra confessed that he had come to the area to beg. Following the incident and the subsequent complaints lodged by local residents, the police took him into custody.
