Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro rail authorities announced good news for students who commute through Metro rail. Metro announced the Student Pass-2023, offering enhanced travel convenience for students. Under this initiative, students can avail 30 trips across all fare zones by purchasing a pass for 20 trips. The pass, valid for 30 days from the date of purchase, requires the use of newly branded smart cards. The offer is available for a limited time, from July 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, and is exclusively open to students born after April 1, 1998. Only one smart card will be issued per student. Pass holders will also receive discount coupons for various retail brands associated with Hyderabad Metro Rail, such as 24Seven Convenience Stores and Reliance Trends. To obtain the pass, students can visit designated stations during specified hours. Red Line stations offering the pass include JNTU College, SR Nagar, Ameerpet, Victoria Memorial, and Dilsukhnagar.
