In a tragic incident, Ramaiah, a police constable stationed at the Khairatabad's Mint Compound in a security role, lost his life on Thursday due to an alleged accidental discharge of his firearm. Ramaiah had been serving as a security guard at the government printing press located within the compound. As per initial reports, the incident occurred while he was performing a routine clean of his service rifle. Tragically, an unexpected misfire resulted in a bullet striking him and causing severe, ultimately fatal, injuries. Despite immediate attempts to rush him to the nearest medical facility, Ramaiah succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital. Police officials have arrived at the scene to conduct an in-depth investigation into this tragic incident.
