Hyderabad: Tension escalated in Hyderabad's Mirchowk area late on Saturday night when gunshots were fired during a dispute over a property. The incident occurred following a clash between two parties over the possession of a 250 square yard plot. One person had recently purchased a portion of the property and sought to take control. Advocate Masood Khan, residing in the property, opposed the entry of the new owner and his associates, citing an ongoing court case. The confrontation between family members and friends of both parties turned violent, leading to Advocate Masood Khan firing shots into the air from his licensed firearm. Authorities swiftly responded to the situation, with the Mirchowk police taking the advocate into custody and seizing the weapon. The situation is now reported to be under control.
