Medak: A shocking incident unfolded in Kolkuru village of Sadasivapeta, Sangareddy, as a man and his wife were subjected to brutal beatings and tied to a tree by villagers, who accused them of practicing black magic. According to sources, a villager approached an occultist, who claimed that Yadaiah, his wife Shyamala, and another person were engaged in black magic against him. Acting upon this information, enraged villagers stormed into the victims' house, bound them with ropes, and paraded them through the streets. Eventually, the couple was tied to a tree while the villagers mercilessly attacked them with sticks. The village leaders reportedly threatened the residents with banishment from the village if they revealed the incident to anyone. Upon receiving the news, the police swiftly arrived at the scene and rescued the traumatized couple.
