Hyderabad law enforcement officials have apprehended a woman who falsely represented herself as a constable, allegedly engaging in a series of frauds across the Hyderabad police commissionerate jurisdiction. The woman, ensnared in a web of deceit, had crafted a fraudulent lifestyle to support her extravagant tastes. The woman fabricated an ID card, posing as a police constable named Ashwini. She successfully convinced many that she held an official post as an Armed Reserve (AR) constable within the Hyderabad police force. However, her scheme began to unravel when she attempted to swindle a resident of Langar House, identified as Naik. Ashwini promised Naik a job opportunity, duping him out of Rs 30,000 under this guise. However, when days turned into weeks with no job offer materialising, a disillusioned Naik reported the matter to the police. This report led to the false constable's scheme being exposed and her subsequent arrest.
