The President of the Congress Party, Mallikarjun Kharge, has declared the Karnataka election victory as a triumph for the people of the state. He emphasized that the party's collective leadership played a vital role in securing the win, but acknowledged that the battle is not yet over. Kharge stated, "It's not a victory for any individual, but for the people of the state. They decided and chose. That's why we got 136 seats - a huge number after 36 years." He went on to describe the party's performance as a "big victory," attributing the success to the extensive campaigning by Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi, as well as the hard work of party activists. Kharge also promised to fulfill the election promises made by the party, adding that he hopes the people will continue to support Congress in other states as well.
