YS Bhaskar Reddy, who is currently on trial for the murder of YS Vivekanand, has filed a petition with the Telangana High Court challenging the decision of Sk Dastagiri to become an approver in the case. Dastagiri was Vivekananda Reddy's driver and had turned approver to the police in the case. Reddy claims that the CBI officials had influenced Dastagiri to become an approver in the case. The Telangana High Court reviewed the merits of the petition and has adjourned the case to the third week of June. The court has also issued a notice to Dastagiri, requesting a reply to the petition. Earlier, Dastagiri, who is the prime accused in the murder case, alleged that he had threats to his life.
